Walk Away

Once a cheater forever a cheater I learn.
He is looking at her with that smirk.
My smirk.
[Or so I thought]
I drop my glass on the floor;
It shatters like my heart.
Before it shattered like chunks.
Now it's fine fine fine sharp slivers.
And it hurts in a thousand places.
It hurts as if it's soaked in the wine I drink.
He looks at me and does nothing.
Now, as I should have before,
I walk and walk and walk away.
